Job Summary:
As an RV Technician at JBRV, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RV’s. Your expertise will ensure that our customers’ RVs are in optimal condition for their travels. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, time management and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in RVs.
- Repair and replace RV components including air conditioning systems and appliances.
- Address issues with RV systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns and explain repair processes.
- Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timeframes.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering quality work and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Complete work orders and submit them in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with RV systems, components, and repair techniques.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
